Full installation site of an A/C TOWER

ODOR CONTROL SYSTEM

A/C TOWER

Stably removing odor and gaseous pollutants using the adsorption power of activated carbon.

ACTIVATED CARBON TOWER

Porous activated carbon captures odor-causing substances —
a high-efficiency adsorption system.

A/C TOWER uses the vast microporous surface of activated carbon to adsorb odor and gaseous pollutants. Its process is simple and applicable to a wide range of low- and medium-concentration odors, making it highly versatile in the field.

Treatment efficiency depends on the type and volume of activated carbon, gas residence time, and moisture and dust conditions. Changjo Eng analyzes the target substance and operating environment to design the adsorption bed and replacement cycle.

PROCESS FLOW

Treatment Process

Pre- and post-treatment stages are combined to fit each site's conditions.
01

Odor Gas Inflow

Gas captured at the source is stably transported to the adsorption tower.

02

Dust Pre-treatment

Dust and moisture that would impair adsorption performance are managed to the required level.

03

Activated Carbon Adsorption

The activated carbon's micropores adsorb odor and gaseous pollutants.

04

Clean Gas Discharge

Treated gas that has passed through the adsorption bed is safely discharged.

ADSORPTION DESIGN

From activated carbon selection to replacement workflow

Even for the same tower, stable performance requires selecting activated carbon suited to the target gas and securing sufficient contact time. We design the structure to reduce pressure loss and adsorption-bed channeling, and to allow saturated activated carbon to be replaced safely.

  • Tailored Activated Carbon SelectionAdsorbent applied to match odor components and concentration
  • Even Gas DistributionInternal flow designed to use the entire adsorption bed
  • Pressure Loss ManagementConfiguration that accounts for blower load and operating efficiency
  • Replacement Cycle PlanningMaintenance that accounts for operating hours and saturation status

DESIGN POINT

Standards that keep adsorption performance stable over time

Tailored Adsorbent

Suitable adsorbents, such as standard or impregnated activated carbon, are selected to match the target.

Uniform Flow

Inlet and support layers are configured so gas doesn't concentrate in specific sections.

Replacement Management

Work access is secured to handle activated carbon loading/unloading and spent-adsorbent disposal.
